Snow Shoe
Adventure

Experience the Mystic Scandinavian Wilderness on our guided tour.
Sliced Log Upscaled.jpg

Snowshoeing is a simple and rewarding way to explore Norrland's snowy forests, frozen lakes, and untouched landscapes. Our 3 hour tour ventures through the natural frozen landscape where nature is our show.

Snowshoeing requires no prior experience. It is far less technical than skiing, and is suitable for all fitness levels. If you can walk, you can probably snowshoe. It's that simple!

Our tours are 3 hours with the choice of a daylight walk, or a dusk walk. Both are lovely in their own way...

  • Daylight walk:

    • Easier for beginners

    • Higher chance to see traces of wildlife

    • Better lighting for Photos

  • Dusk Walk

    • Watch the landscape shift as the sun sets

    • Headlamps included

    • If lucky - see the Northern Lights

What to Wear

Itinerary

We begin our tour with a short welcome and putting on the equipment. After a short lesson in snow shoe walking and some time to adjust to the new size of our feet, we veer off the path and head into the forest. The distance and the tempo of the tour is adapted after the groups ability. During the walk we look for signs and traces from wild animals, as well as learn about some of the local mining history.

When the energy needs a refill we make a stop in our hunting cabin for a hot beverage and some time in front of the fire.
